Cards For Heros

I love a "reason" to make a card. My friend, http://www.ladydoc-tiltingatwindmills.blogspot.com/, told me of this great cause. There are some wonderful people out there making cards and donating them to those serving our Country. Check out the website, http://cardsforheroes.org/ for more details.

This card was made to send to Cards for Heros and for the SCS Limited Supply Friday Challenge. The challenge was to complete a card using only 1 piece of solid cardstock and lots of designer paper. All of the DP is the "Unforgettable" line from Close to My Heart. The small tag is the only CS and that is Sorbet. I cut the flowers from scraps for one of the patterns and attached small pearls in the center. The edges are ink distressed using Desert Sand (CTMH) and the sentiment is from CTMH's Friendship Garden stamp set.

For Now, Happy Crafting!

Great job on the challenge! Those papers are really pretty and so is your finished card.

This is a cute card too..

Yesterday morning I was at this website and thinking that I should send some cards in. It does seem like a really good cause.
