Snow Challenge 4 is Finally Done!

Wow...did this turn into a project! Snow Challenge 4 was to wander around the house and look for something to alter or use something unique to help you make your project. When I was looking around, Bombay and I found this plastic divided file folder.

Using the Grace B/T Duos Paper Pack, I turned it into a Card Organizer.

The folder has 5 plastic dividers. I covered each one with a different pattern paper from the Grace pack. There is no need to cover both the front and back of the dividers because the great think about Close To My Heart papers is that they have a pattern on each side. The plastic is clear so the dual sided paper worked perfectly. If you look closely, you can see that on the front yellow mat. It is actually the reverse of the paper used on the front cover. By the way, "Cards" is stamped and cut out using the Posterboard Alphabet set on a scrap that was left after covering one of the inside plastic sheets. I made a sheet for one side that gives me the opportunity to write down important dates.

I covered the top flaps with tags cut with Nestabilities. I decided the categories would be Happy Birthday, Thank You, Congratulations (for Weddings, Babies and Graduations), Thinking of You (including Get Well Cards) and Just Because. Those titles come from Fringed Phrases. The circle stamp is from Connections.

To finish off the project, I punched holes in the side and tied Twill Ribbon. I had to have a way to keep the cards from falling out! For Now, Happy Crafting!
