Handmade Snowman Card

I told you in my last post that Crafting By Designs, one of my favorite crafting sites, has changed the format to a blog.  This is going to be so easy for everyone to share in the great challenges.  Anyway, speaking of challenges, the very first challenge is posted and it is an inspiration challenge.  The challenge is to make a card that features a Snowman...or as Doris our leader calls it...a snowman, snow woman or snow person.  heeheehee

To complete this challenge, I dug out some retired Close To My Heart products I had.  The paper and stamp sets are from last Christmas and the ribbon is from ???  But, I can tell you that the color is a retired color called Heavenly Blue.

I've got some fun things packed into this little card...a Snowman colored with my Copics and popped up on a Cuttlebug embossed mat, inside snow flourishes and some Prisma Glitter.  When ever I get stuck on what design to use for I can, I grab my new CTMH "Make It From The Heart" sketch book.  This sketch is in that book and I am pleased with the way it turned out.  What do you think?

Crafting By Designs is going to be a great resource when it gets up and fully running.  We need your help...there is another challenge also posted so why don't you hop over there and grab some inspiration for your Holiday Cards.  For Now, Happy Crafting!

I really love what you did. Do you happen to remember the copic colors you used?
